Understanding Full Lace Wigs Vs Lace Front

What is the difference between Full Lace Wigs and Lace Front?
Full lace, front lace, wig caps... whether you’re new to the world of wigs or already a veteran, understanding the terminology used can be confusing but it's important to know if you want to purchase the right wig for you and ultimately have the right look.
One of the earliest choices you’ll run into is not simply choosing the colour or style but choosing whether to invest in a full lace wig versus a lace front wig.
Here we run down exactly what you need to know and why at Mood we only provide full lace options...
What's the difference between full lace and lace-front?
The main difference between a full lace wig and a lace front wig is the base.
Full lace wigs have a base entirely made out of lace and each strand of hair is hand tied onto the base for a natural finish. A full lace wig covers your entire head so it’s often recommended that you wear a wig cap whilst wearing one.
On the other hand, a lace front wig is attached to the front edges of your head, along your hairline where there is often a lace panel. The rest of the wig is made with a stronger and thicker material and the hair strands are attached in wefts to this material.
Full lace provide so much more versatility than front-lace and because of that I only recommend using full lace wigs for the best possible hair experience!
